I was commissioned to create this illustration for Hope Church. I created a scene from the story of Jesus and his sermon on the mount. Three layers of silhouettes gives the illusion of a crowd while a soft gradient allows each layer to stand out from the one behind it. The Sermon on the mount is a well known story so the statement "He said what?!" is intended to make you question what you might hold as truth.
